Summertime - Barbecue time! And that's a fun time for vegans too! :-D
This quick and easy recipe starts with a paste made from
1 - 2 spoonful of crunchy peanut butter
3 spoonful of ketchup
1 spoonful of thyme
1 teaspoonful of salt
1/2 teaspoonful of pepper
1 spoonful of agave nectar
1 spoonful of oil
and some chili
Mix it all together and apply it to the zucchini bands you cut off with a vegetable peeler.
Take your wooden pikes and get those zucchini on there. Now grill for at most 1 minute. Do not prepare the zucchini too early on, or they will draw water. You best put the paste on, put them on the pikes and grill them. Don't forget to prepare loads of them, for even non-vegans will be starting to get the taste of this. ;-)
Make some Beluga lentil salad to go with your zucchini skewers. Boil the lentils (without salt) until soft, cool them with some tap water and add the paste you have left from the skewers. Then add
Mmmmmh! Perfect barbecue party! :-D
