If you're interested in yummy finger food, you have to try these quinoa Balls with wild garlic!
To prepare them you cook a cup of quinoa with two cups of water and 5 minutes in you add a cup of yellow lentils. Add another glass of water.
Wait for 5 minutes and add half a cup of oat flakes.
Throw in a pinch of salt and half a cup of yeast flakes.
Leave it with the lid on for 5 more minutes. (There's something going on here... 5 minutes, 5 minutes, 5 minutes... There seems to be a pattern or something... ;-) )
Then put it in a blender and mix it to a sticky paste. Put the chopped wild garlic in it and form the balls with moist hands. Put some oil in the pan and roast until golden brown.
The lukewarm salad consists of spiralized carrots and cucumbers mixed with freshly cooked spaghetti.
The french dressing for the salad is
the juice of half a lemon
olive oil
mustard
pepper and salt.
For the tempering (crunch) I heated some oil in a pan and added
half a cup of Chana Dal
a few dried chilies
and in the end I threw in some fresh wild garlic and mustard seeds.
That's all. Make sure you prepare enough balls: they are delicious and will quickly disappear. ;-)
